This is a a small part of a little flock of Cockatiels that came in to the dam.
I've extracted a section that shows various flight poses etc. There's a male at the back, the one with a white head.
At last I found a picture of a male Cockatiel to show you.
When the flock came in most settled in the tree on the opposite side of the dam from where we were sitting.
I watched a little flock of Cockatiels fly in.
They settled on the water's edge, but not very close unfortunately.
This is a female.
How lovely it was to see them in the wild.
