For me its more than just watching birds and insects. I like to see the wider picture in front of me before I take the shot. This Common Blue Damselfly was perched and at rest in a leafy oasis soaking up the sunlight. I like the colour of the leaves, their design and the way the sunlight falls...

While photographing this Common Blue Damselfly it started to clean itself, this shot made me chuckle.
