Another heavy crop of Friday's distant Buzzard. It was in view for only 15 seconds: if I'd been looking the other way, I'd have missed it.

Extremely heavy crop! The bird was very distant. Not having seen a Buzzard since 2015, on Friday I decided to put in a few hours waiting at the window for one. After four hours this bird turned up. It's good to know they're around, and with luck one will come closer next time.

A Buzzard soaring high over North Norfolk.
It looks like it may have some wing and tail feather damage (I took several shots and the feathers looked the same in all of them so not just this angle) unless it is moulting but with snow currently on the ground a moult would perhaps seem like bad...
I've been trying to catch this guy for a couple of years. Everything came together today. He is a pale morph of the common buzzard. Spent a long time trying decide (on the basis of fleeting glances) whether he was a buzzard or goshawk.
