En route to the shore, before the day was at its hottest, we stopped at a hill on the steppes and Babodag forest which is mostly oak savannah. I think we saw this lizard at Babodag.
There were lots of these delightful little fellas sunning themselves on the boardwalk at Strumpshaw Fen on Sunday, despite the strong wind. I got down low for this shot like a real photographer. I didn't spring up again like one though! Ron
