Many thanks to everyone for your wonderful comments on my pics, they are very much appreciated!
I won't be online for a few weeks but will try to catch up with your photos when I can
regards to all
I can't get pics of anything else much, as there's always a few of these in the way|=)| At least 70 juveniles are eating whatever I put out; which is twice as much as I can afford lately.
Oh, the noise is great; at least two of the neighbours has moved already, another is recovering in a local...
I don't mean "lost" as in "dead"; just found a quiet juvenile-free spot for a 3 second rest|=)|
Through the double glazing, as I was indoors when I noticed it posing. I can get close to these in the garden, but me being there makes the Jays nervous, and they're already being...

High (for my camera) ISO and only 1/50th second...

Almost ruined by the reflection off of the glass and the glare, but I think it's good enough to show the plumage changes.
I had to underexpose this by a stop just to get 1/30th second shutter speed. I seem to be doing that a lot lately, and then I have to bring the Gamma up in software before...
These only returned to the garden a few weeks ago; first time in years that they wasn't around all year. I think a combination of the Sparrowhawks and a very smart Feral Cat was too much for them this year. I've made it impossible for the Cat for now, but I'll need to keep ahead of things, as...
