when all the weavers, sparrows and bulbuls were away, this handsome one was finally able to come to the feeder, and enjoy some of the remaining cake crumbs and the mixture of grains (green lentil, millet, freekeh and crushed peanuts). hope you like it.

obviously, the whitethroat spotted the bee. I only saw it when running through the photos on the pc. on the next frame, both the whitethroat and the bee were gone ...

Another shot from our most recent visit to Bough Beech. My balance wasn't too good trying to follow the bird as it moved through cover, but finally it perched in the open and I managed several shots without falling over. Thank you for your kind comments on my pictures, and good birding! John
