These three came together at about 5:00 pm on October 9, 2020. The barbet is a regular at the tree, the oriole on occasion and the bulbul a first-timer.
This coppersmith was at the banyan tree testing all the fruits. However, it was not taking a bite. Clearly they know when the fruits are ready to eat. A couple of days later, they were gorging on the fuits.
As you can see, it was warm day and the barbet was keeping its bill open the whole time.

This picture was taken at the Rabindra Sarobar Lake in Kolkata, India. Was fortunate to find the Barbet at the same spot for quite some time and caught the beautifully colored bird in different moods.
