Jumping with Joy
Captured this Common Raven for the first time and he was jumping with joy to be back and enjoying the super weather and his view of the sparkling water from the pool roof. He nests very high in the Eucalyptus tree across the street, and is a noisey devil.- UncleGus_24

From the top of Sonoma Overlook Trail, I watched a raven chasing away a turkey vulture. Self-protection against an overly proactive vulture? Or just being territorial? Raven, methinks
I wasn't sure at first whether this was an American Crow, or a Raven. Having now read the Peterson guide carefully, I'm pretty sure this is a raven. That's mostly based on its vocalizations, which consisted of low, rumbly croaks and some "thwoks" that sounded like somebody hitting a...- Doc Duck
