Crane Hawk (Geranospiza caerulescens subsp. flexipes) Juvenile. Roadside along the Transpanteria Road between South Wild and Porto Jofre, Pantanal, Mato Grosso, Brazil. Pantanal with scattered cerrado (savannah) at ca. 128 m (420 ft) elevation.
Its most striking feature are its very long legs which are orange in colour. It is generally grey with a black tail showing two whitish bands and white tips.
