Been out of touch for some time but hopefully back into the birding. Decided to move one of my hides some 200 meters to the other end of the lake where there is less cover and more light. It worked well with several Crested Tits coming down to the feeder. I have never seen one of these before so...

Woke up this morning with perfect vision in my recently operated eye, dilation drops finally out of the system. Somewhat confusing with perfect vision in one eye and the other still extremely near-sighted, but in another 3 weeks they'll both be fine, and meanwhile I just might be able to take...

Just had a good chat with Mali,now i'm going to have a glass of red wine,then get up in the morning and off down under for 5 weeks can't be bad.

Another Crested Tit looks a bit on the fed up side to me maybe the cold.
