Post-hopping at Grassy Point. Was evening by the time we saw it so light wasn't great, but still fascinating to watch as it caught, prepared and ate caterpillars.
I dedicate this shot to my new camera without which this would not have been possible. :-O

Managed to track this guy for a while early this morning and he eventually provided me with this opportunity. First ever photo of a Cuckoo, again very pleased!
The bird has extreme habits. Either its perched at the canopy and making continuously calls or it stays on the exposed twigs of the lower storey. It perches quietly and seldom takes off to chase insects like most other Drongo. When it is on the low level, no calls will be made.
Well its been a horrendous weekend here weatherwise, and as I type this I cant see out of the window, as the rain is just sheeting down again. Needless to say, its back to the oldies again. I am presently going through an old external hard-drive, and have come across quite a few images from 2007...
