    Post-hopping at Grassy Point. Was evening by the time we saw it so light wasn't great, but still fascinating to watch as it caught, prepared and ate caterpillars.

    The bird has extreme habits. Either its perched at the canopy and making continuously calls or it stays on the exposed twigs of the lower storey. It perches quietly and seldom takes off to chase insects like most other Drongo. When it is on the low level, no calls will be made.

    Fan-tailed Cuckoo This bird appeared suddenly this afternoon, outside my window. The picture had to be taken through the glass window, and the quality is not very good. Still, it's my first sighting, and my only photo. I would have liked the bird to turn its head towards me, but it didn't - so...
