Absolutely no chance of photography today, the weather here in Cheshire is dreadful. Hope you are luckier where you are. So here's another from our trip to Norfolk last year.
Messing around with live view and an old teleplus 2x tc attached to my 400/5.6 this morning. Live view had no problem auto focussing although it is slower than normal AF of course. BTW the converter will not AF on any of my lenses, even the f2.8 ones so I was surprised that it worked OK in live...
A grey day yesterday so we had a stroll to the local harbour here in Thornham. Quite a few waders foraging on the incoming tide, but pretty useless light for pics.
High tide pushes the Curlews in quite close at times and I was able to take this shot from the comfort of the Tarka Trail which is a made up tarmac walking/Cycling path.
This Curlew suddenly went up less than 10 metres away from me, I managed some grabbed shots but this was the only one where the all the bird was in the frame. Did not manage to nail the focus on the eye due to only having a split second to aim and fire but it shows the wing and tail patterns...
