Hope I've got the ID right on this flower, it's a few months since I took it but think that's what I thought at the time.
There are a few look-alikes though.

If you look around you may find the humble Dandelion in flower. Some (like this one) have massive flower heads on a low stalk with hardly any leaves. It's like the plant knows the mild spell is limited so puts all its energy into the flower and not the plant itself.

Look at the two images at 300mm/1ft start to cross your eyes untill a middle Dandelion appears, now put your hands palms towards face either side of face, move in towards nose (75mm/3"from face) untill only middle image remains - look around image to acclimatize your brain - should be 3D.
A shot taken during a recent visit to the beautiful region of Betws-y-coed, Wales. I was basically experimenting with the cameras versatility. Im guessing the flower/plant is some kind of Dandelion. (Open to someones expert eye for confirmation)
