I was walking through a field, birding, and I came over a hill and 3 deer were just staring at me!

Roe deer at threave castle

Saw these white Tails browsing in the open field close to my pad. Decided to retrieve my camera and long glass to get this shot. The deer had moved off increasing the distance,had to work hard for this one. I gave a loud whistle and stopped the deer from walking when the buck in the rear looked...

I have about 50-60 fallow deers roaming around my house on the country side. Sometimes, when they are nibbling at my lawn and are close I try and sneak out to snap some photos. This one turned out best this time before they ran away.

While in Colorado...morning rides proved to be worth getting up early. This mule deer was about 10 feet from me, and he was kind enough to pose

While taking a nature walk on Sunday, I came across this fawn straying away from it's mother. She stood like a statue for me while I shot the picture.

While driving the country roads, we came across five deer and a lot of turkey just hanging out in the fields eating. A day I will never forget.

Went off with my camera before daybreak this morning - I was changing my lens and felt someone's eyes on my back ............... I turned around and there she was, watching me. She didn't mind me being in her space and even took advantage of a photo op! FORD PARK. Elyria OHIO.

Plenty of Roe Deer in the fields and woodland close by, I really enjoy observing them from a distance and grabbing the occasional shot. Here's one from about 18 months ago.
