After playiing with Photoshop's new CS6 Oil Painting filter Ihave come up with what I think looks best using these measurements. ,Stylization, 0.1, Cleanliness, 2.25, Scale, 0.3, Bristles, 1.4, Angular, 286, Shine, .65.

These birds traditionally winter on the reserve and I caught this family group as they left to feed in early morning sun. The rain clouds in the background certainly add something.
