My first dipper

Another from Dipper Falls on the little woodland stream that Ken was so kind to take me too. One day I hope I can return the favour to you mate. This is probably the last Dipper post for a while as I've got so many fantastic shots I think I could post Dippers all year so I'll quit while I'm ahead.

Popped down to Kens `Dipper Falls` yesterday and had a great session with these guys though the light was very testing. Would have been better if the man himself had been there but he was away up North.

On the move

Less that a minute after I'd taken the 'dipping' picture he was back on a rock. And you could be right Rod... he pooped into the water around this time! To give you some idea of scale I'd be at least 20 feet above the water for nearly all the pictures and, unless I'm very lucky, the rocks are...

Usual walk along the river and I soon found a Dipper this time. A sunny day, with a cold wind. The snow's all gone, though I could see some on the hills.
