I've been taking little walks along the river here lately. Rarely do I not see a Dipper but they're usually on the far side of the river, this one was a tad closer, more in the middle.
Aperture Priority, Spot Metering, F6.3, 1/50 sec, -1.0EV
Both Ken & I had brilliant time watching & photographing this wonderful bird of the rivers. Been busy this morning, off out again now, so catch up later.
Been capturing Dippers for 3 days now, wanted a shutter speed of 1/15 sec but it was impossible to get this action sharp enough so i had to settle for 1/50 sec.
First day out of the nest for the young one, been watching them for two weeks now and yesterday they made an appearance. Some habitat too,a thundering waterfall!
I am not very happy with the dipper shots I took on that day. The ISO was too high and my hands must have been shaking a bit when I took these pictures. Still, here's one of them.
