doves

Hi, glad to have found this forum. I love birds, love all wildlife, but I am not an expert, just a love my backyard (North East) as it attracts all sort of birds -- owls, blue jays, finches, cardinals, woodpeckers, hummingbirds, etc...AND Mourning Doves... Now, I need to find the place to post...

No change in behaviour noticed. Too busy eating. :)

We have allot of these Mourning Doves feeding here at our home in Florida. Not camera shy this photo shot at 10 feet. ( Olympus E Volt 500 40-150 mm Auto setting) However they are nervous to a door slamming etc.. Maybe because.......right across the road about 300 feet is the home of many hawks...

Lol I was making a coffee and while looking outside my kitchen window dada the top notch doves were perched on the neighbours antenna better than watching tele any day hehe.
