    I had to laugh when I got this image. I may be mad but it looks to me like there is some cross-eyed, cartoon character flying this Southern Hawker !! What do you think?

    I was in China in July and saw many very cool dragonflies. I didn't have my camera, but took this picture with my girlfriend's point and shoot.

    I thought birds in flight were hard to capture, but insects in flight was even more challenging. Too fast for automatic metering, I reverted to manual focus and multiple shot, trying to catch this one flying into focus. It took around 400 attempts to capture this! Species not yet identified
