    Taken at the Martin Luther King Jr. Regional Shoreline (Oakland, CA, USA) at about 25m. I think I've seen a Ruddy one other time, but also at a fair distance away. We may be seeing them more often than that but mistaking them for grebes with the naked eye at these kinds of distances.
