Nice walk around a very windy Rye Harbour yesterday, not many small birds about at all. Waders were quite thin on the ground too, but managed enough for three posts today.

This bird stayed in the same spot for over an hour, sometimes apparently sleeping, sometimes standing up. The sun was very hot at times but it did not go near the water on the reservoir.
Early one for me today, I have some gardening to do for my lovely parents. Thought I may as well make myself useful and help them out, as they're both in their eighties. Might go birding tomorrow morning with BFs Will H, if the weather holds.
