These guys will let you get real close when they are dozing, they open their eyes every so often to check you out.

Nice walk around a very windy Rye Harbour yesterday, not many small birds about at all. Waders were quite thin on the ground too, but managed enough for three posts today.

This bird stayed in the same spot for over an hour, sometimes apparently sleeping, sometimes standing up. The sun was very hot at times but it did not go near the water on the reservoir.

Early one for me today, I have some gardening to do for my lovely parents. Thought I may as well make myself useful and help them out, as they're both in their eighties. Might go birding tomorrow morning with BFs Will H, if the weather holds.

A long day in Norfolk and very few photos lol, Was to busy getting lifers! A friend took me on a birding tour of Norfolk and was busy busy but managed to snap a rogue Dunlin and some crazy Turnstone lifers!
