I took this photograph 2 months ago at Pengilly Scrub, about 40k north of Adelaide, a favourite birding spot that attracts several species normally only seen much further away. Sadly Pengilly Scrub was 80% destroyed by the fires which raged across the area on Wednesday.

Nearly two years since I last posted one of these Woodswallows - usually seen quite high up.

First two shots taken with the new Tamron 150-600. Both birds were a fair distance away and shots have been heavily cropped.
