Last year I was told there were eagles nesting in Lambertville, NJ on the power lines. Well, I was determined to find them. After trekking through the woods and fields for about 2 miles on a hot day, I finally found them. Believe me after seeing them, along with immatures...it was worth it!

There were about 7 or 8 eagles soaring, diving, and enjoying a great Cape Breton afternoon. They perform with lots of dives and landing on the ice close to were we are shooting!
With this up and down weather in Cape Breton, was glad that yesterday, although cold, was a great day for shooting eagles. Today not so much....Raining and very windy....good editing day!
