This egret was feasting on some fresh crab at the reserve. The only thing missing was the drawn butter as far as I was concerned! LOL!

Taken at the Martin Luther King Jr. Regional Shoreline at about 10m. Was caught by surprise when trying to take some BiF of this egret and he decided to land on the railing of the pedestrian bridge right near me. Didn't get really stellar photos because I was fiddling with settings that day...

This beautiful bird was coming in for a landing...I'd say it was a perfect landing!

While at the reserve, this egret landed in a way that was so elegant it looks like a ballerina.

Taken at the Martin Luther King Jr. Regional Shoreline at about 65m. Watched and tried to photograph these two egrets, one chasing the other, looked like a fight. The rearmost one had all it's display feathers ruffled and everything. The lead egret seemed to lose the battle and kept flying up...
