Slightly sharpened, adjusted level, color vibrance and reduced noise. Moderately cropped.
I have hardly been out this fall. However, this one came during a short stop at an estuary the other day. It is my second of this species during 10 years in Dominica
From the boardwalk on the nature trail at Long Key State Park in the evening we saw a group of Roseate Spoon bills feeding along with a single Tricolored Heron. It was a colorful sight.
I think this is a juvenile tricoloured heron. Amongts the various birds at the wild life refuge this was the only one of its kind near by. Today's theme for me is Herons :-)
