Teal in flight
I was on my walk today and I noticed a male and female Eurasian Teal. I took out my camera and took a few snaps. Something spooked them and the female was the first to fly away. Then I was ready and took this picture of the male as he leapt out of the water.- BirdsOfEurope

Center stage
Great light yesterday. Nothing unusual on my walk (I only walked around the downtown area, as I had a couple of errands), but this Teal was a treat to see. All in all 42 postworthy shots. More than enough to keep me busy posting until I start getting California birds next week.- Doc Duck

I stood very, very still and eventually she came a bit closer to the bridge.
