2 old pictures, reprocessed from the original RAW images and not previously posted on Bird Forum, and 1 new one today. We had lots of sunshine during the working week but now it's dark and dismal again.
This is from a visit to Scotland to see the family at the end of 2013.

The bird seemed to be shy and stood, on the perch, in the shadow of the tree. I was allowed to get close enough to take this photo. As light was low I had to use the flash.
