  1. Kestrel

    Kestrel

As we were leaving the reserve that morning, my sister spotted this Kestrel sitting high up in a tree. Didn't nail the focus too well, as there were so many leaves in the way; this was the best of them.
  2. Red-legged Partridge

    Red-legged Partridge

This is a species I see at home... but usually running for cover! I've very few pictures of them at all. This one was tidying up underneath the feeder, so it was a rather shady spot under the trees.
  3. Marsh Tit

    Marsh Tit

One of the stars of my visit that day; a bird I don't see round here as they're not really resident in Scotland. This was the only picture I got, as it was just a fleeting visit. As an aside, someone had said they'd seen a Willow that week, but apparently they'd not been officially recorded on...
  4. A handsome couple

    A handsome couple

These two seemed to be patiently waiting for the small guys to finish at the feeders.
