Bird Feather Identification? Staithes, Yorkshire, England, UK.

Hello! I was wondering if anyone could please help me identify which bird these feathers came from? They were found on top of a hill in Staithes which is by the coast in Yorkshire, England, UK. They’re quite small, unfortunately I don’t have anything with me to measure them with so I used a coin...

Feather id ? Speckled wispy feather, location near Alabama US

Found this feather in a small field and was wondering what it could be. Some edges are very wispy (not frayed but naturally wispy), and it has black and white speckling throughout the feather. It is about 12-13 inches in length. P.s I left it where it layed.

    Feather ID - Los Angeles

I just found this in the backyard. I live in a semi-rural part of Los Angeles, in the mountains. Worried about the little dog. The feather measures about 35 centimeters. I appreciate the help. ***for clarification, I’m wondering if this indicates a bird of prey that could carry off a 10 pound dog.

Hello! I made an account just to post this. I was given this lovely little feather (which has since been returned outside) by my baby cousin. Its 7 inches long and has a very slight blue shimmer when I rotate it in the light. I was given it today as we were sitting in a parking lot in michaels...

    Help to identify feathers?

We live in Denton county, just north of DFW. Found these feathers in my pasture. Unfortunately, there was no bird. My best guess is a bobcat or coyote got it. But I can’t quite figure out what bird they came from. Any help is appreciated! The longest feather is about 12” long. I put my...
