We have at least six hummingbirds that visit our feeder and tubular flowers. They arrive in March and depart in mid - October. I am always a little sad when they depart. I miss their squeaky little chirps and acrobatic antics. Always glad to see their March arrival.
She is perched above the feeder in our backyard. She is fiercely territorial and runs off the other hummingbirds. She has been known to challenge and even poke the woodpecker when it is at the feeder eating suet. (LOL)
