Splish splash, I was taking a bath, Long about a Saturday night.

This fieldfare waded into the marsh biotope of the hospital park pond just to the left of the little jetty where I stood - first about 10 ft to my left, then waded out and waded in again just an arm's stretch away. I had to zoom back out to keep the whole bird in frame, and otherwise just stand...

A small number of Fieldfares stop on Shetland on there way back to Scandinavia this one is topping up before he starts the next Leg of his journey.

Although the fieldfares are all but gone around my patch now, This was a few bushes that was full off berries in november, and the birds would come in around 2.30pm to feed

Glad to be able to pop into the gallery and post a sunny Fieldfare. Still a fair amount of snow around and very chilly!

The tree that was absolutely full is now bare, it took 3 days to cleanse it of its fruit, I should have taken a shot before and after but my earlier shots from Tuesday show how laden it was
