Another from Wednesday morning at the Reservoirs. The colours aren't messed up White Balance, but the strong morning Sunshine. It's amazing how different birds can look in different lighting.

Another from Wednesday morning at the Reservoirs. I'm not sure when I'll be back today, as the Boiler is broken, so I've no heating or hot water. The electricity will probably be off while they fix it, so no router/internet.

Tried for a black redstart yesterday but it hid from me. Whilst waiting, these cackling thrushes fed on berries on a nearby tree.

Fieldfare; adult. Just one bird of a big group of several hundreds. Plateau de Milllevaches; Creuse. December 2011...and another poor light shot. "Tcha-Tcha" is the local name for this bird.

So difficult to get close to these birds, using my car as a hide done the trick!!

AAP One of the few pictures I've got of this species where it actually looks a bit like one LOL. This was taken somewhere in Fife, maybe at the Eden Estuary.

Just back from the Reservoirs, and I found a lone Fieldfare. These haven't been where I'm used to seeing them this year, so I looked somewhere else|=)| Lots of vegetation in the way, but that's why it felt safe. Back a bit later

On the way to Titchwell, went via the Choseley area. This is just a small part of the flock disturbed by passing car.
