The morning after a snow/freezing rain storm I looked out to see the sun rising and found this goldfinch sitting in my dogwood tree with all of the branches lit up from the sun. It had a much bigger impact when I changed it to a black and white image.

Male. What the earth is an African bird doing in Singapore? They must have been released during some Buddhist ceremony to improve one's karma. Very friendly and will probably become food for crows and accipiters soon.
