I luckily happened upon this pair of FLAME COLORED TANAGERS taking a bath at Bocatoma near Rio Frio, in Tamaulipas state during the El Cielo Nature Festival in February
After a few hours of watching at 3 different times, we finally saw this gorgeous bird. It nested here earlier in the season, but after the young fledged, they became harder to see. He sang for us and everything!
