The white patches in primaries are diagnostic .

Saw many of them during my trip to the NT.

This species is very common around the Darwin area, and can be seen regularly sitting on the wires.

Seems to be quite a few of these at this location

These two seem to be shouting their heads off.

These lovely Kingfisher are fairly common around the Fogg Dam area off Stuart Highway.

These Kingfisher were common on power lines in Queensland

Prior to fences and lamp posts I had to sit in trees

This little kingfisher is a male and are seen in the Cairns area of Queensland, Australia. They are seen mostly on power lines.

These Kingfishers were practically lining the powerlines. This one was especially cooperative, one of the rare times I get tired of taking pictures before the bird does :P

Because everyone loves kingfishers :P
