Another female profile. I see her quite often and don't know what her neck feather issue is exactly. A fight, molting, genetics who knows? I have several females with bright blonde feathers on the very top of their heads.
Blessed, by such originality, Dan
Yeah, but Mr. Dan makes it so hard. Forcing them to work together, infuriates the little wranglers.
Blessed, to achieve temporary peace, in Elm Grove, Dan
Another blessed double. I should probably be trying to get as many hummers in one shot, feeders or not, to give indication of what goes on here nowadays.
Blessed, literally feeling the wing wind on my beard, Dan
More blue sky, caught with tail feathers in full spread. I am blessed, so much more than I deserve. I pray these 100 degree days are short lived. I guess this is "Global warming" Huh? It's not even Summer 'til Monday
Blessed, 85 or 99, Dan
A graceful swoop past the Western tree-line in the lovely morn. A very territorial female, claiming much for her on, only to meet with much resistance.
Blessed, to have lovely guests for 6 months, Dan
Back in my back yard sky once again. Catchng the back feathers, even on the tail, cost the front-on throat, but the real World is the real World.
Blessed, by more than his share of chances, Dan
A more typical darker gorget (sometimes they appear almost black) on this diving beauty. Yesterday was a good and blessed day. I think the flock is still growing, although I don't think I've seen young yet.
Blessed, by all these guests, Dan
Not my best shot of yesterday, by far, but I love the blessed pose I was allowed on this one. Nothing like trees and blue sky, either. Now that's a gift for, you!
Blessed, with a simple Central/AC fix, Dan
