    On his favourite perch, one of 15 to 20 that visit my yard from time to time, trying to warm up early in the morning just after a cold snap. I liked the colours in this shot, the background really highlights the bird I think.

    I have lived here for 8 years now and each year a couple more of these arrive on the scene. Cross breeds between a Galah and Short Billed Corella. This particular bird has more grey than most. Mum and dad are normally close by along with brothers or sisters from previous years

    Couldn't resist putting this one up for you all! There were about 20 in my front paddock and they were ripping out some onion_grass and were having a great time, a few perched on the rail and I got quite a lot of shots.
