This male Gang-gang Cockatoo was resting for a short moment between feeding. It had been feeding for at least 3.5 hours throughout my stay at the reserve.
This is a good example to showcase how skillful a cockatoo can manoeuver its feet and now it serve more like a hand. This is its normal posture when eating.
