    ...for Trev and Rose!!

I have gone back to July for this shot. Trev kindly dedicated a ladybug to me and commented I had not posted in a while. It is ages since I went out with my camera. This camera is one I bought from a friend, and I sent Rose a p.m. as she has a Panasonic and I am always impressed with her postings...

    Hitchcock Gannets

Wasn't sure about posting this as its as much about the scenery as it is about the birds. Photo doesn't really do justice to just how many Gannets were in the sky but thought I'd share it anyway

    Formation flying

I'd have made a bit more space around the birds but they were rather close to the left side of the frame so please forgive the tight crop.

    Ace flier

I enjoyed a day at Bempton with Adalia(Cora) and Sandpiper (Mike) to celebrate Cora's birthday, it was a perfect day, the light was just right and the wind enabled the birds to float on the thermals making it good for flight shots.
  22. Feeding frenzy

    Feeding frenzy

Recent sea trip produced some great views of sea birds close, the Gannets were being fed mackerel caught by a crew member.
