I had a very relaxing time in Scotland. I didn't leave Helensburgh but still took an awful lot of pictures. It was dry most of the time and the rainfall we had was generally light. We even had 2 sunny days

A great deal of catching up to do at work after last week's conferences but now we're starting to plan for next week's Easter break in the far south of Sweden and I'm really looking forward to the trip. I hope to see lots of birds and take loads of pictures.

Had my best day for Goldcrests for years on 9th April and a wish came true as well.
Off to Lake Tkern for a few days tomorrow morning. Hope to see Bitterns, Bearded Tits and Marsh Harriers.
