I never get tired of watching these birds in their spring activities. I really did enjoy spending two mornings with my gorgeous friends.

All alone and no mates around,tried to be friendly with a couple of Mallards.

One of a few that stayed close to the dock yeserday, there was also an RB Merganser in with them but refused to get close for hi photo to be taken

The strong north easterly kept a few goldeneye close to the dock yesterday, wish they had been a tad closer whilst displaying

And back to this year's gloom ;) Not that I minded when this beauty was bobbing around nearby.

I don`t know if its just me, but these guys dont ever seem pleased to see me when I arrive!

Certainly glows golden even in gloomy conditions like this.

The light was terrible at the Reservoirs this morning, so I didn't get many pictures. My camera does a few things well, but birds in-flight in low light isn't one of them.|=)| These birds were quite distant, so it's also a heavy crop. But I don't have any of these birds in my gallery, so I've...

The partner of the male I aired the other day. We got to see them both perform a courtship dance, which the male rose up out of the water and zipped along. Was most amusing.
