Not much that's sharp here but i like the effect.

Signs of Spring, open water and something other than Mallards arriving. There were four Goldeneyes mixed in with several hundred Mallards.

In a little corner of a frozen lake this Goldeneye had found some open water,he was reluctant to leave this spot so i could lie down and get pretty close to him.

I hate black and white birds, the exposure that is. The light was very harsh so no colour in the head as i was trying to avoid blowing the whites. Also it looks 'dark' on my monitor at work again, compared to my home PC.

Just checking the old water pics. No open water anywhere round here. I believe this pic hasn't been in BF. But I have so many images that look alike.
