I sat on a bench in Regents Park last week watching these Egyptian Goose goslings, who were happy to just set up camp in the middle of the path....so cute

From my bird blind at sunset, these goslings refracted sunlight through their down for an etherial effect. Enchanting and captivating, they were totally unaware of their surroundings even as their parents kept vigilant watch over them.

This photo was taken May 26, 2011 in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Canada. There were 24 goslings with this pair of Canada Geese! How that can be....I don't know!!! Enjoy! Andrea

This gosling is one of a brood of three that goes around with the other brood that contains the golden gosling. I call them the three amigos. They are about 3 weeks old.
