It was interesting to meet this colony. I think the birds were resting after having eaten. It is said that the acidic droppings of the birds are destroying the leaves of the trees and eventually kill them of. The image seems to prove this theory.
After having swallowed the big fish, shown in my previous post, the young cormorant found a place to dry its wings. He shall have no problems for the rest of the Sunday.
It was a nice Sunday morning. The young cormorant appeared behind my boat with a big catfish in the beak. It took him several minutes to swallow the catfish. The rest of the day must have been good for him.

I saw this young cormorant swimming in the middle of the cannel we were sailing on. To my surprise he did not fly away but only increased his speed. This allowed me to take some photos before he dived.
