hi guys a capture from last year.these beauties nest here each year and have been for quite a few years but not this year no sighting of them but i did mention before the rangers done some pond management with the reeds so my fingers are crossed for next year and my toes.

One of the summers Juv's still with its stripes. Because of their clumsiness on land these beautiful birds were once known by the not so flattering name of Arsefoot. How different they are in the water!!!
