This time it's one of the siblings out swimming on his own who's stretching out one of those big paddle-feet. And that's it for the grebe pics from that trip.

I can eat it all myself, thank you! (And maybe still have room for another)

Great Crested Grebes

This is the first time I have seen the grebes using vegetation in display. I managed to get a number of shots of the usual head movement behind the tall grass besides the large pond but thought this was the most impressive. I am yet to see the grebes full dance but anticiapte it!
