In the forest of northmost side of China, the great grey owl is resident. The Asian subspecies is paler and less barred than North American subspecies.

What can I say ? It was great.

I went out on the first good camping weekend of the year. On my way to pick some mushrooms and ran into this guy. I was able to get two pictures before he flew.
