Lots of new things happening but just not in range yet, so all i can offer is another woody shot.

Take a Walnut in your hand and then hit it with a nail like I did. After six hits it was still not broken and yet this woodpecker can hit it once or twice and its open. The precision in which they do this never ceases to amaze me and is fascinating to watch. He is a real cracker.

I have posted this photo taken just a short time ago mostly for information purposes. I have been asked many times about using high iso. so this one is at 10,000 iso. at f10. Normally I only boost the iso to gain speed on dull days if taking photos that require a faster speed, although a dull...
