This female appears to feeding young on her own, judging by the amount of food she's carrying off, and the fact I've not seen the male for weeks.
Through the window, and only managed 1/30th second shutter, but I like how she's hanging on to the feeder.
I have a couple of nesting pairs at my feeding station, but this is somehow very different from the others as she has a brownish color on the feathers.
I believe that this is some kind of stuff from her nest inside a old pine tree?

This Female GSW landed about 6 metres away and filled the frame. I had wedged some crushed peanuts on the rear of this perch.
She lapped them up and I was amazed how at ease she was with me so close in the car.
