I have ten mixed nest boxes in my garden, eight are occupied. Some of the youngsters have already flown and a second sitting has started. This is one busy parent bird bringing home the dinner.

The exif data does not always read correct when the camera does not recognize a lens. This was the Sigma 120 300 f2.8 os sport lens with a sigma 2x converter giving 600mm. Iso. 3200 at f7.1.

This Great Tit landed on the post with a screw I had mistakenly left on it. It continued to place and lift it's left leg continuously as though it was doing the Twist. I wish I had it on video.

Always guaranteed, and always the first back after an alarm. They do say these are at the top of the pecking order of the Tit family but I have seen Blue Tits see them off on a regular basis. Another bird I am guilty of neglecting.

Another very neglected bird by me (Like the Chaffinch) hope this goes some way to redress the balance. just wanted something slightly different from a portrait.
